ANSWERS

- How do I get the Translator working?
In order to get the Translator working, you must reroute the power first. The Power Router is located in the Engine Room, on a lower deck. However, you'll need the correct combination for the Router switches.

- How do I get the Translator Schematics?
Have you looked at the translator? Kaptain Brawe must know that the Translator doesn't work. This triggers the action where your Ensign will give you the schematics when you ask him about the Translator.

- I have the schematics, but how do I use them ?
Take a closer look at the translator. You will notice 4 wires sticking out. If you look at the schematics, you will see that there are some numbers written on the left side. Match the numbers with the wire colors and you have the router combination.

- How do I set Rowboat up ?
Rowboat is a fine piece of equipment. You will need a maintanance manual which is located in the Cargo Hold. However, the manual is in French so you need to translate it somehow.

- Why in the world is Rowboat called like that?
To be perfectly honest, Rowboat's body is actually made out of spare dingy parts. Utilizing fine mechanics in a simple wooden boat, Eastern European engineers reached a perfect balance between utility vehicle and a robotron. Not only is the body resistant to corrosion while used in water, but the wood polish and a simple cloth can bring its outter appearence to a lasting shine. Woodworms, on the other hand were a problem. That's why Rowboats outter shell is completely wired with a small 12 Volt battery. This solution proved to be effecient against all kinds of crawlers and maggots. However, when used in water, Rowboat can be hazardous to its operator. Honestly, a BRAWE piece of equipment.

- How do I translate the manual?
If you already got the translator working, simply put the manual in the service hole and use the Translator Disc.

- Where can I find the Translator Disc?
Think. Kaptain Brawe is not the brightest peanut in the herd. But since this is a help section, we'll give you a hint. For Kaptain Brawe (and many other people in the world) a COMPACT DISC could be used as a tea saucer.

- How do I clean the Disc?
How do you usually clean your CD's? Check the inventory, maybe you can find something to wipe the disc clean.

- Why do I have to cook in this game?
The answer is simple. To retain your grasp of the real world. I know that Kaptain Brawe can be entertaining for hours, but just because we reached space, doesn't mean we don't have to do our daily chores. And besides, it's not like you have to make Beijing Duck, roasted with honey and wallnuts, you only need to heat a specific ingredient. That shouldn't be to hard. Plus, the oven is automatic and very powerful. Trust me, it's powered directly from the Polar Ion Drive. Imagine baking a sausages on a rocket exhaust system. It wouldn't take more than a second.

- How do I fix the Locator?
Kralek already told you, it only misses the antenna. All you need is a piece of conductive wire, attach it to a locator and PRESTO! You are done.

- Ok, I figured it out, but how do I glue them together?
Well, all you need is some high resistan silicone that will hold those parts together. You can find some in the cupboard in the Cargo Hold.

- Kaptain Brawe refuses to bake the sylicone. What now ?
He is right. What would your Mom say if you tried to bake a block of silicone in the oven. She would go nuts. You need to find some kind of metal container that will hold the melted silicone. Look around, it shouldn't be too far.

- When the heck is the full version coming out?
Most likely November 2007. There is alot of testing to be done, alot of dialogue to be written. But you have our DOUBLE BARRELED GUARANTEE that it will be released before Christmass. "Kaptain Brawe" sounds like a nice gift for your familly and friends, so we'll make sure you have it delivered by that time.
